Wheres the Rum - 100T.43

In honor of "Talk like a Pirate Day" (Sept. 19th)... which naturally expanded into a Pirate weekend.... Arrrrr Matey.

Foregoing the easy, kitchy Retro PinUp Pirate route that I would normally take I stretched myself into this 8+ hour labor of love. So you all damn well better like it and fave it!

This was done entirely in Photoshop... start to finish... but took FOREVER. Drawing the lineart took the longest, if I had drawn by hand it would have taken half the time. Hopefully the more comfortable I get with the tablet the quicker I'll get.

But... I think those people I see here on DeviantART that have these gorgeous all-digital paintings claiming it only took a couple hours are big fat liars... it just can't be possible. This took all day and I didn't even draw the background. I smell fibbery I tell you!!! LOL!
