Yes my French sucks... LOL!
This is my interpretation of "Puss in Boots" for this weeks CHOW at ConceptArt.org I decided not to go with the traditional "Musketeer" Puss (made famous in the Shrek movies) and take him up a century or so to Colonial America / American Revolution era. My choice of coloring and fabric effect was to make it look like "Toile" Print Fabric, which was first made popular in the 1700s.

I like how you usually incorporate vintage into your pieces -- this particular style looks neat and does have a very fabric-y look. Very cool stuff!!
